Review
Bricks of Egypt is a wonderful arkanoid based game inspired in the Ancient Egypt. The game offers a great game play and good low resolution visual effects. Unlike other similar games, the paddle is very responsive and the ball bounce off the paddle in the exact direction you want to. The different levels are carefully and beautifully designed with different sets of brick, special effects and multiple bonuses to add even more fun to the game for all ages. It is really easy to use and simple, and the only thing that changes throughout the different levels is the design and of course the complexity, but not the speed, for instance, which can be considered a disadvantage. The game would be great if it included a pleasant Egyptian music to set the mood. All in all, if you are looking for a simple breakout based game with a different and interesting look and feel, Bricks of Egypt will not disappoint you.
It supports Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP or compatible and allows you to play for 30 minutes. |
